1. Weighing
 
Good quality UL electronic wires are generally within the specified weight range. The commonly used PVC insulated multi stranded copper core wire with a cross-sectional area of 0.35 weighs 3.5-3.6kg per roll; 0.85 PVC insulated multi strand copper core wire, with a weight of 5.3-5.40kg per roll. Poor quality wires have insufficient weight, either insufficient length, excessive impurities in the copper core of the wire, and many wires have hollow cells in the PVC layer of the outer layer, resulting in uneven texture.

2. Distinguish copper material
 
The qualified copper core UL electronic connector wire should have a purple red color, luster, and soft touch. However, fake and inferior copper core wires have purple black, yellowish or white cores, high impurities, poor mechanical strength, poor toughness, and can break with a little force. Moreover, there are often broken wires inside the wires. When checking, you just need to peel off one end of the wire by 2cm, and then rub a piece of white paper slightly on the copper core. If there is black substance on the white paper, it indicates that there are more impurities in the copper core. In addition, the insulation layer of fake and inferior wires may seem thick, but in reality, most of them are made of recycled plastic. Over time, the insulation layer will age and leak electricity.
 
 
3. Look at the manufacturer
 
Counterfeit and inferior UL electronic wires are often "three no products", but they also have ambiguous origin and other markings on them, such as "Made in China" or "Made in a certain province or city in China", which is actually equivalent to unmarked origin. And the outer packaging of the wire does not have a UL blue label specially issued by UL company.
